Welcome to CCWriters writing group
CCWriters was founded in March 2010 to support, promote and help writers hone their writing skills, whether just beginning to write or experienced writers. One of the goals of the group is to publish our work collectively as well as individually. The second goal is to be active in helping the community.
In 2011, we published an anthology book, CCWRITERS Shorts, First Edition. A percentage of every book sold was given to the Literacy Council.

In 2012, we published our second anthology book, Our Pets–Our Family, CCWriter’s Shorts II, and a percentage of every book sold was given to the Animal Shelter.
In December of 2012 our Christmas book, Christmas Memories was published.
You will find in our group those who write magazine and newspaper articles, short stories, non-fiction, fiction and poetry. Our talent is diverse and we share our expertise, knowledge and ideas. Each month we work on learning more about writing and actively practice writing.
We meet once a month, the first Thursday of every month from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Collierville United Methodist Church, 494 W Poplar, New Life Ministry Center, Collierville, TN. (The building with the glass dome front and The Common Cup coffee shop.)
For those who cannot attend a daytime meeting once a month, you can join the group online and participate in our writing goals. There you will find the educational material as well as the articles, stories and books we are working on.
